The familiar "eater" series of cases inspired by the action of living things eating takes the function by which living things swallow food and take it into their stomach, and the form required to do this, and presents them as a case.
Living things have a particular form for a reason, a form that has evolved to enable them to survive. We think about why creatures take that form, and transpose the significance of this on to the product. The outcomes are cute and sometimes foolish-looking, but meaningful and functional.
One of the characters of Seto products is button-eyes that are not only decorated eyes, but work as snaps. This system is after the model of the reptiles which eyes (blinking) and a mouth (munching) are connected. It is often seen in nature that one part has several functions.
Living things teach us many things. They are lovely but fearful, eat and exhaust, and live and die. We like to express all aspects of living things.
